Epilepsy in MS are associated with increased mortality

The incidence of epilepsy is increased in multiple sclerosis (MS) but its impact on MS prognosis is largely unknown. In this MEDtalk Zamzam Mahamud present data show the the effect of epilepsy diagnosis on the risk of conversion to secondary progressive MS and mortality. The data suggesting that epilepsy could be a marker for severe MS.
